Thryon, any advice about playing this game please? Im dying like every 2 minutes it seems. Ive never played a more frustering game in all my life. I literally want to throw my 360 right through the living room window.

And yet, I cant stop playing the Godforsaken thing.

Where are you in the game. I mean, what level are you, what class are you playing? For early level characters, I would recommend learning to perform the slide attack using the two sticks. This is essential for clearing out a room of badies. Also make sure you take out all ranged enemies first. Finally learn to deal with the trolls. They are a pain, but easy enough to kill once you have a little experience.

One way to ensure you live longer is to play some co-op. I am willing to return to Too Human for a few hours with ya, that will bring you up a good 20 levels in less than an hour. I am level 50 and the bad guys will ramp up to me so each kill will bring you oodles of xps.

Im at the stage where myself(Baldur) and Thor are trying to get to the serpant. I never even heard of this slide stick thing............lol. All Ive got is a sword and one move with it it seems, hit guys into the air then try to shoot them out. I die constantly.

I get surrounded by what seems like 100's of enemies and cant fight through them, there over whelming.

Im at level 20 now I think? Thats what it says. I just realized now that LB button does something as wqell.

Co-op sounds good though. I got roped into watching a couple of movies this aft with the wife, but may be on after the hockey game tonight, and more than likely all day tomorrow as well.

The trick to Too Human is the combo multiplier. You need to get your combo meter as high as possible and to keep it there. The easiest way to do this is to master advanced attacks such as Slide attacks and air attacks.

To perform a simple slide attack simply hold the Right stick in the direction toward an enemy. Once you deliver an attack point the right stick towards another enemy (even if the first one is not dead), you will slide towards the next enemy and deliver an attack. Quick pointing the right stick towards your next target. This quick movement makes you a hard target to hit and allows you to quickly clear out a room filled with enemies.

What I do when faced with many enemies, I will first get rid of ranged enemies. I will slide attack towards them then perform a Juggle attack (double tap right stick) to launch the enemy in the air, then jump (A) and then press the right stick again to perform an air attack and finish them off with a Fierce attack by pressing both the right and left sticks towards the enemy at the same time. This will destroy all but the most powerful enemies in one shot. Once I land, I will slide attack towards the next ranged enemy or slide attack everything that is left.

When in trouble you can use a Ruiner. Ruiners are powerful attacks that will knock down every enemy that surrounds you, but will drop your combo meter by a full notch (still better than dying). Here is a trick, perform a slide attack before you perform a ruiner and your ruiner will only cost half a notch of your combo meter.

Also roll instead of walking. Rolling will neutralize most attacks like missiles and trolls hammer slams. But rolling will also stop you from losing health. Some enemies will zap you with stuff that quickly drains your health, but if you roll you will not lose any health points. Keep doing this till the effect is gone. Also rolling is a faster method of traveling than walking or running.

Hope these tips help. For the record, I died close to a hundred times in my first play through, but only about 20 times in my second turn, and less than a dozen times my third try and I only died twice in my forth play so far.

Speatleyson did any of the suggestions help? Also when are you on? I would very much like to get some co-op action going.

Nothing like bringing a thread back from the dead (yes that does indeed make this a zombie thread)

I was reading a recent article about Silicon Knight's battle vs Epic over the Unreal Engine 3 and come across this little bit of info that shattered my dreams.

"It also said the deal [with Epic over the UE3]"caused decreased sales of Too Human, caused [publisher] Microsoft to end negotiations to develop two sequels... damaged Silicon Knights reputation, and impaired Silicon Knights' ability to secure future development projects.""

Say it aint so SK. Now it is still possible that TH2 could be produced and published by someone else.
