Halo: Reach is a prequel to the blockbuster gaming franchise known as Halo. “Halo: Reach” puts you front and center in the fateful moments that forged the “Halo” legend. As part of Noble Team, a squad of heroic Spartan soldiers, you will be called upon to defend the planet Reach, humankind’s last line of defense between the terrifying Covenant and Earth. To join the public beta, you need only a copy of Halo 3: ODST and an Xbox Live Gold membership.

So if you already traded your Halo 3: ODST game disc, you have about two weeks to run out and get a replacement copy. I on the other hand have till May 3rd to actually play and finish Halo 3: ODST.
